Mechanical Design Engineer (Sheffield - hybrid)

They work with local authorities, developers, house builders and property owners to reduce costs, energy consumption and carbon emissions through innovative design and proactive intelligence led system operations and optimisation.
Hemiko are seeking a highly flexible, self-starting, post-graduate engineer with demonstrable experience in the design of Mechanical Building Services. The nominal location of the post will be Sheffield, but they will consider other office locations in London and Carlisle. The role is to support the design and growth of heat network infrastructure in the UK so you would also be expected to visit prospective client sites and active construction sites throughout the UK from time to time, as necessary.
Salary: £49,000+ (DOE)

Talan are looking for an experienced individual to act as the Technical Liaison between Gemserv and its technical specialist delivery partners in the delivery of services related to HNTAS. You’ll triage technical issues in scheme design and delivery, and assessment of solutions proposed by technical partners. You’ll develop/curate non-technical scheme rules, for example, assessment approach. You’ll also manage any conflicts of interest (real or perceived) between the technical partners’ HNTAS role and their role in the wider market.

Service Engineer - Plant (Greater London)

Hemiko are recruiting for a Service Engineer (Plant) reporting to the Technical Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering operation and maintenance services across their fleet of heat networks. They are looking for someone who is willing to work towards a valid commercial gas certificate, with experience servicing and repairing commercial plant equipment. Experience maintaining and operating commercial non-gas plant, e.g., pumps, valves, strainers, would be beneficial. The role will be varied, undertaking mechanical PPMs, reactive call outs, planned repairs and project work, to further improve reliability and network efficiency across the fleet of networks we operate.
Salary: Base £27,750-32,500 (DOE)

This role is ideal for a lawyer with a minimum of circa 4 years of post-qualification experience and a strong interest in infrastructure, clean / renewable energy and/or PPP projects. You will gain experience across a wide range of specialisms including commercial contracts, corporate work, project finance, construction and real estate. The role is well suited to a lawyer with a specialism in commercial or projects matters (including construction), however they are happy to hear from candidates from other backgrounds with an interest in developing a broader skillset.

Hemiko is seeking a Design Support Engineer to work in the design of District Heating infrastructure including Mechanical Building Services.
The role is to support the design and growth of energy centre and heat network infrastructure in the UK, so you may also be expected to visit prospective and active construction sites throughout the UK from time to time, as necessary. This position will differ from conventional design responsibilities in that the Design Support Engineer will be given the opportunity to help ‘own’ design projects from inception through to operation through a broad range of learning. Following the handover to our Operations Team, the engineer will continue to monitor and evaluate feedback from the Operations Team to help refine and improve the design and all future designs.
Salary: £40,000-£49,000 DOE

The purpose of this role is to ensure that target customers join their heat networks. You will do this by engaging with their customer base to cultivate excellent relationships, develop a strong offer for each customer (supported by their technical and commercial teams) and work with each customer to ultimately get a decision to join the heat network. Your clients will be senior level representatives from within the public sector, private businesses and developers in towns and cities where they are developing low-carbon networks.
Salary: £60k+ DOE
